The May 5th HP Dressage CT Schooling Show was a blast! Thank you to all of our hard-working volunteers who braved the heat to make our second GDCTA show a success! Congratulations to the "Tack Shop at Wit's End" sponsered award winners: Catherine Schwender on Cacique, who took the Dressage High Point award with a 70.37% at Training Level Test 2, Susan Thomas on Performing Art, who took the CT Low Point award, and Christina Boyd who won the prestigious "Best Dressed". Hunter Show results from trainer Emily Truax for April 28 at Spring Break Farm: Ava Hinzman, Champion Jr Beginner on Stewart Little and 2nd and 4th TRM; Kinsey Patrick, Champion TRM, 3rd & 4th Crossrail Hunter on My Pinto Bean; Fiona Waller, Reserve Champion Jr Beginner on My Pinto Bean. And, just in from Jessica Thaxton: Katie Smith on Miss Sweet Cash, Reserve Champion in Crossrail Hunter; Maddie Stiles on Do a Little Dance, Champion in Green Rider Hunter; Catherine Sumner on Jasmine, 3rd, 4th, and 5th in Green Rider Hunter Eq; Jenna Hood took Picturesque Debut [a.k.a. Denim] out for the first time in the show ring, and we are eager to see how this pair progresses in the future; Jessica Bond on In the Nik of Time returned to the show ring and was Champion in the Schooling Hunter Division.

At GHF's Dressage at the Horse Park April 28 - 29, Cindy took another step toward her Gold Medal, scoring 68.143 in her 4-1 test on Hosanna! Sunday, the pair were scored 70%+ in their 4-2 Test. Also on Hosanna, Dennie Kludt earned a 65%+ on their 3-2 Test Sunday. Parham moved Ooh La La [Livi] up and forward for a 67.8 percent on their T-3 test Saturday afternoon. The pair consolidated their gains Sunday, with 71% on T-3 and 65.323 on 1-3 Tests. Julienne rode "a very energetic" HPF Monsieur Noir Bebe to a 7 in gaits in their 1-1 test Saturday and a score of 61.6% Sunday on their 1-1 Test. Christine worked with Whindlass on 2-3 and 3-1 levels of connection and propulsion. See images 1-4 below.

Stephanie's students, Tava, Tyler Grace, Austin, Ashlin and Madison, had a great showing at the GHJA Rock House Riding Center April 14 and 15. Tava King and Highland's Windsong won SS Eq both days. Tyler Grace Green and Glitterati championed both days in SS Hunters. Austin Cumming on Blueridge Sunset was Champion, Schooling Pony. Madison Akins and Ashlin Liedberg showed in the High Schooling Jumpers for the first time, getting great ribbons.

The Greater Atlanta Dressage Southern show April 7 - 8 was a great success for High Point. Peri and Sunny were High Score 2nd Level riders on both Saturday and Sunday, winning their classes with 69%, 66%, and 70 percent. See image 5 below. Riding Dennie Kludt's Hosanna, Cindy was High Score 4th Level and also won both her classes.
