Cindy Thaxton
Training Level through FEI Dressage

Cindy on Ravel
Cindy uses her training as a USDF Certified Instructor to develop harmony between horse and rider. She competes along with many of her students and has brought 3 students to U.S.D.F. Silver Medal status. Two of these students await Grand Prix scores for their Gold Medals.
In 2009, Cindy Thaxton was selected by the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation to coach its National Dressage Team at the FEI World Dressage Challenge, which is designed to promote dressage in countries where the sport is developing. All athletes within the zone execute the same tests and are adjudicated by the same Ground Jury of two FEI experienced judges. This jury thought that the Cayman competition was the best organized show ever held in the zone.

If training has not made a horse more beautiful, nobler in carriage, more attentive in his behavior, revealing pleasure in his own accomplishment...then he has not truly been schooled in dressage. - Colonel Handler
