High Point Farm welcomes the newest member of our training staff. Kristi specializes in the training of young horses,and is now accepting beginner to novice riders of all ages.

Kristi has spent her entire life around horses. She began competing in saddleseat at age 5. Since then, she has hown in many disciplines [e.g., dressage, show jumping, eventing, games, western, halter]. For several years, she competed at the USPC National Championships in Games and Show Jumping. She was a member of the 2002 USPC International Games Team, which competed in Great Britain. She was on the team squad of the 2003 World Games. As a result of her participation in Pony Jumpers and Children/Adult Jumpers at "A"-rated shows, Kristi qualified for and competed in the USEF Pony Finals in Pony Jumpers.
Kristi's knowledge of horses and their training is extensive. For several years, she has broken and trained a wide variety of breeds. A Pony Club member at 12, Kristi completed her B-level Pony Club Rating and has been a clinician at Pony Club clinics and ratings.

Kristi is also an experienced instructor. She began conducting lessons when she was 14, and developed a lesson program and riding camps at her parent's farm. She teaches students of all ages; conducts individual and group lessons; and encourages her students to compete at local horse shows. Her most recent experience has been at Bruce Farm. There, she managed the Beginner Rider Program under Stephanie Parker-Cumming and ran summer and overnight camps.
Finally, Kristi's dedication to animals extends to our smaller four-footed friends. For the past nine months, she has worked as a Veterinary Technician at the Gwinnett Animal Clinic. Her exuberant puppy, Logan, accompanies her to High Point, bringing smiles to the faces of kids and adults alike. As soon as he sits still, we'll include a photo of him!
